A Champion for UV Light Air Purification
Madison Hope has always wanted to make the world a better place. Whether that is through her many years of softball coaching, where she gets to see so many young kids grow and succeed; through her dedication to studying Environmental Sustainability and Ecology to receive her degree in Environmental Science and then using that to reclaim and remediate Alberta & Saskatchewan Land; or through her most recent search for a way to finally get us all back to “normal”- a way, you could say, to give us hope.
Born & raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Madison is a prairie girl at heart. Her passion for softball came to fruition when she was selected to play for South Dakota State University, as well as for Team Canada at the Women’s Softball World Championships in 2015. Having achieved one of her many dreams, it was time to move onto her next: Environmental Science.
Following graduation, Madison moved to Medicine Hat where she began her work on reclaiming oilfield land. After a few years, Madison realized she needed more. She felt a pull to do more, give back more, and to make a difference. Luckily for her, just when she was making the leap to make a change, she was also coaching the daughter of Marcus Campbell, who heard of her search for something more fulfilling and made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.
The more Madison researched and discovered about ultraviolet light air purification, the more she could see the light at the end of the tunnel - the COVID-19 tunnel, that is. She is now the Director of UV Angel Air Solution under Terralta’s new Air-Tech division and her main goal is to educate and introduce as many people as possible to not only the incredible benefits but also to the science behind incredibly effective UV-C air treatments.
For Madison, this is the first time she feels a glimmer of hope through the seemingly endless battle against this global pandemic. She says that by playing even the smallest of roles in helping people protect themselves from the virus, she fulfills her dream of making this world just a little bit better.
